02/07/2004: "Up and Down"

Mood: A Bit Blue

Today started like any other day. In English, I was cheered up with Jonathan Walters told me that he "reprimanded" Mr. Kaldor for interrupting me in Philosophy Club. Thanks Jon! We had a pep rally at school, but since we have fireworks at them and I'm severly ligyrophobic (fear of loud, sudden noises), I crept out of school. However, I did it without my coat because Mr. Nowatzki was coming around the corner so I had to escape fast. Then I walked to the mall...HOLY COW WAS THAT COLD!! Three people tried to give me a ride, but I declined. Only one dude tried to on the way back. When I was getting back to the school, I tried to move my hand and my muscles felt extremely sore. So I spent the rest of the time constantly moving my arms. A girl cut herself in Art, something that hasn't happened since a different girl nearly sliced off her finger my Sophomore year.
After school, I had to go with my mom to her office where I slept waiting for her. Then we practiced parallel parking, and my mom insisted that I do it in tiny spaces. At 7:00, I went to the Chat Room and listened to Chubby Knuckles, Tones of Emotion, and Dingus. Sam hadn't shown up when Dingus was ready, so they just played cover songs, and they let us sing with them! I got a pretty jiggy with it at times! Afterwards, I chilled for a while until everyone left.
On a final note, I CHICKENED OUT...sorta. The thing is that Snowball was around the corner and it would be kind of early to ask for prom. Jewell thinks it's not such a good idea, but I don't want to miss a chance that I'll regret later. I always end up with competition, it sucks!! Now I'm sad sad Work's going to be so insanely boring tomorrow.
